The Nordic Council of Ministers has established a new web magazine, Green Growth the Nordic Way, www.nordicway.org.
In the latest issue, the magazine published an article on our Rio+20 project:
“A large-scale benchmarking exercise is under way to measure the sustainability performance of the higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Nordic countries. The project originates from the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development…” www.nordicway.org/2014/10/aiming-higher-sustainability-education/
In addition to our project, the following subjects are presented in the issue:
- Great Nordic Climate Challenge, an energy saving competition between Nordic schoolchildren (will be launched on November 11). www.nordicway.org/2014/10/consumers-future-battle-great-nordic-climate-challenge/
- Biophilia Education Programme, developed by singer Björk, which is currently being implemented in selected Nordic schools. www.nordicway.org/2014/10/biophilia-sparks-childrens-interest-nature-science-music
